Mild coffee is produced from Arabica beans of plants that grow at higher altitudes. These beans produce the finest quality coffee. Robusta beans are produced from low-quality Robusta plants and are quite devoid of flavour and aroma.

Many manufacturers blend Arabica and Robusta beans to create a blend that is aromatic but not too expensive either. Midway between the two lies the Brazil beans. These beans can be both of superior and inferior quality. The superior quality beans come from plants growing at higher altitudes while the inferior beans come from plants cultivated at lower altitude.
